Byzantine
I was reading up on the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Bible and at the end its translator included a comment about Vatican City being destroyed in 2013. Anyone want to explain this?

Luigi
I Googled it and I landed at some radical Catholic site - end of the world, protecting self & family against the Apocalypse, that kind of thing. The guy (I suppose it's a guy, but I don't know I think so) conflates LaSalette spirituality with "The Prophecy of St. Malachy" and I don't know what all else - probalby reports from the GAO. Anyway, if you Google it and land on the same page, be forewarned - my computer went all hinky a couple of minutes after I landed there. First it froze, then I couldn't close the page the first nine times I tried to close it, and just when I thought I was going to have to do a hard shut-down, the page did close. I don't know, the whole thing gives me the willies, and not because I believe any the Vatican's going to be destroyed.
Basilisa Marie
I've heard of the Prophecy of Malachy. It's reaaaally strange. I don't know if the comment was attached to a passage in Revelation (I'll take Luigi's word and not venture there), but in case it was I'd caution against anything that reads that book as a very literal description of end-time events, with particular dates and such attached. Remember, "you won't know the day or the hour..."
