GeorgiiMichael
Do you get your bow ties from here? Beau Ties Ltd. of Vermont If you do, IDK if you remember the first magazine that they had people on, well those people were my dad and big bro. They took a picture outside, my mum sent it in asking if they could put it in the magazine, and it was ion the front cover. It was a surprise for Father's Day when my mum showed the catalog to my dad!
Alas, I only have 1 bow tie, and it's red with blue dots. But I'm going to have to keep that company in mind when I get more, because I love bow ties.
Nihil Obstat
My bow tie came from the Mises Institute. That's the crest of Ludwig von Mises on it. It's quite sharp.
Amppax
I tend to avoid color coordinating if at all possible.
Chrysophylax
I often wear something that has to do with the season, but not necessarily the liturgical colors. Last Sunday I wore something with snowflakes on it because it was snowing. Often, completely by coincidence, we will all get up Sunday morning (there are ten people in my family) and we will find that more than half of us are wearing the same color. That's always kinda fun. BigJon16
I usually color coordinate. I'm a sacristan, and it gives me a good rep among the old ladies...
Slappo
I find it sort of odd when lay people dress in the liturgical colour, to be honest. I just leave that up to the priest.
Agreed. I'll wear black on Good Friday though - but that is not because of the liturgical color, it is to remind me that it is a day of penance. I'd wear black to a requiem mass too, but that is to mourn the dead not to follow suit liturgically.
Maggyie
I wear whatever clothes are clean and/or reasonably non-stinky... Sunday is laundry day so it's slim pickings around here.
MIKolbe
I color coordinate my underwear to the liturgical season. on an unrelated note.....is brown a liturgical color?
