she_who_is_not
Our priest used to ask remind us to, "Wear red for Pentecost next week," during announcements.
FutureSister2009
Yes I do this every Advent! I love to do it! I'm not ALWAYS Liturgically correct but I usually go for it during Advent and I wear red for Pentecost
MissyP89
Sometimes I wear black to confession. ROFL. It suits my mood.
cmaD2006
I. Can't. Get. Myself. To. Dress. In. Liturgical. Colors. Nope -- I usually avoid it. I usually end up wearing a completely non-liturgical color. The only exception -- Good Friday. I usually stick to dark colors, either dark blue, black, or dark brown. Then again the liturgical color for Good Friday is Red ... which I would not wear on Good Friday. Nope, especially if it is taken as a day of mourning. vee
I avoid wearing the same colour as the priest's vestments.
Yeah, this is typically my thought -- it has a tendency to be tacky. I wouldn't do it every Sunday. But I really, really love Advent. Just this once, I'll be super festive. I may even take a picture. ETA: Red! What you mean "probably nice"? Don't question my amesomeness. Edited November 22, 2011 by MissyP89
brandelynmarie
I don't see anything wrong with being color coordinated.
GeorgiiMichael
I usually don't. Last Advent I accidentally wore a bunch of purple on the 2nd Sunday (purple shirt, tie, sweater). But I do think it's a fun idea. I'm going to try to have, at least for Advent, the correct color tie for the proper Sunday. But unless someone takes note, they won't know, because I have both pink and purple monotone paisley ties that I wear quite often.

They took a picture outside, my mum sent it in asking if they could put it in the magazine, and it was ion the front cover.
