MissyP89
So I went shopping this weekend and bought a really beautiful purple sweater. I want to wear it to Mass this weekend, what with it being the First Sunday of Advent and all. But now I'm starting to chicken out. I'm not sure whether this is razzle dazzle or just really, really cheesy. I don't want to be cheesy. Instead, I'm going to let y'all decide. Purple for Advent: yes or no? And...GO! Byzantine
I only really coordinate for Pentecost. If I think of it, I might do it for something else...
Sarah147
I dress very conservative for Mass. Usually browns, blacks, whites, etc.
homeschoolmom
I have a reversable vest-- one side is purple, the other is green. I often wear it on it's right color for mass. I also have one that's red and gold on one side and white and gold on the olther-- for feast days and such... I *also* have one that's Charlie Brown Christmas on one side and black with colored snowflakes on the other.... (I have a bunch of other vests, but I won't bore you. I love vests. )
TheresaThoma
If I had something that was purple I would totally wear it. At one parish where I sang in the choir we tried to color coordinate. We had green and red choir shirts so that covered most of the year.

But yeah, they were at first... they're pretty used to it now.

It was always fun to see the different shades of reds in the congregation.
Nihil Obstat
I find it sort of odd when lay people dress in the liturgical colour, to be honest. I just leave that up to the priest.
