it is from Star Trek First Contact where Worf blasts some Borg into oblivion and says:

ASSIMILATE THIS!!

It is one of my favourite lines from all the Star Trek episodes and films I have seen

I've had an affinity to this particular invocation of Our Lady. It is actually a picture of a statue of Our Lady of Fatima. If memory serves me correctly -- those who have visited the Sisters Servants of the Eternal Word have seen this statue in the main chapel (I was shocked when I saw it ... long story).

Some day, if I ever had that much money, I would oh-so-get that statue. It is a hard one to find.

Billy Mumy in The Twilight Zone pointing out Very Bad People. As a Mod, that's what I do. Be nice to me or I'll turn you into a jack-in-the-box and then put you in the cornfield.

Had to edit when I realized I called him "Bully Mumy." :hehe:

Yes, he did, but he lost his ability to make things go into the cornfield. :(

We always call him Evil Opie.

LOL. Cute nickname. I wish he'd kept the ability, would've come in handy...

Was Bernini's statue of St Teresa in ecstasy. Now St Scholastica looking pretty much the same :P If Bernini had done one of Scholastica, I would have used that - I love his work.

I changed mine to keep Max from bugging me about not having an avatar. And I like this particular shade of blue, though I have been thinking about changing it up and making it match the liturgical colors.

Yes. :)
And I don't know about CM... I never really thought about it. I tend to take hiatuses from PM and then come back so I haven't been as consistent as a lot of people!

Well, I'm Catholic, of Polish descent, impressed by John Paul II's life story, and like hockey. So, put them all together.....
