How Do You Spend Your Time?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'd love to know how people spend there time, especially after work is done, like for fun, to relax, to spend time with friends or relatives.

What mercy work do you do?

What do you do? Phatmass post? Wii? Internet? Eat together? etc. etc.

What do you do on the weekends?

God bless you.

Worrying, worry about my family, my ability to find work to feed my family, worry about my health, worry that I get the weather to complete the work I need to take care of my family. I try to beleive that God will provide but I really am consumed with worry, at times its overwhelming.

I come to this site to benefit from the energy of the youth that post here, I post some pics on Flickr as Fishing and Photography are my two favorite hobbies in that order. Lately I have started watching TV again, its morphine for the senses, mind numbing distraction has it good points at times I guess...

After work, I read. I usually have 3-5 books going at a time. On weekends, I like to hike/walk. I love to dance. My hometown has a 90's night that I love. Feels like being back in middle/high school. Football is my second religion. I practice every Sunday (after Mass, of course).

Have you considered CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy? Or just talking to someone, anyone? Worry sure can be an obstacle to trusting in the Lord, I know myself.

Spending time with family, doing school work, reading, playing my violin, volunteering at OLOH, writing friends and nuns, coming on PM, cleaning up after my lil sis.

In summer, disc golf and geocaching. In winter, 5 pin bowling. I also love to sew and do water aerobics. I have a Wii, and like the walk it out game and the world fishing one.

I also go to school, and am working on a term paper right now on the pastoral care of childless couples. At least I'm supposed to be.
