Sinner
OK dUSt......... thats it. I'm taking off the gloves!! You need to share with me where this is or there's gonna be trouble. I would really like to take my family so they could see what it was like when I was little. I don't think it would be my regular...... but I would love to visit. So what say you? Where is it? Wanna meet for Mass? Maybe tacos, so very tasty and good for you, after? ....... or are ya yella?

Spiritual_Arsonist
I remember my first Tridentine Mass. I was shocked at the amount of silence. IT really encourages contemplation. My Archdiocese's first Tridentine Mass since 1970 will be this Sunday.

theculturewarrior
I've been to a Novus Ordo in Latin, as well as a Tridentine. I can tell you, a poorly celebrated Tridentine Mass is not much of an improvement as far as liturgy goes. The Novus Ordo mass I went to was celebrated in all Latin (except, if I recall correctly, the readings) and it seemed like very little of it was NOT chanted. The priests had a great sense of decorum, and the whole thing was so respectful that I was just like, WOW. I'm sure there's more to the Tridentine Mass than just smells and bells. If I knew Latin better, I'll bet I would love it, because some of the old prayers are soooooo beautiful. If you all ever get a chance to attend an Anglican Use mass, make that your next excursion. HartfordWhalers
And my mantilla kept falling off
You should get some pins; it is much easier, at least that is what women from my church tell me. Does your mantilla not fall off when you are at a Novus Ordo Mass?
