Thyroid Problems During Pregnancy

Dear Pham,

Can I ask you to please pray that everything will be ok with my baby? I have hypothyroidism, and while about 4 weeks ago the levels were great, my doctor just called to tell me there's a problem again. Hypothyroidism can lead to all sorts of problems in the baby (including miscarriage), especially because he/she isn't making his/her own thyroid hormones until about 20 weeks along, and I'm really, really worried. I don't even care about the symptoms in myself; all I care about is that our little one will be safe and healthy. It has me worried sick (and that kind of stress [i]can't[/i] be good for either of us), and I could really use the support of your prayers.
