Continued Prayers

Please continue your prayers for my CRHP sister, D. Her husband was found dead in her house when she came home from work. The circumstances are unknown, but we are hoping and praying that he didn't commit suicide. The funeral is Saturday and I'll be out of town, so I am unable to attend. Please extend your prayers to D. and her late husband, R. This was entirely too sudden and a lot of confusion is swirling. Thankfully, the parochial vicar of our parish was with D. on Wednesday to offer support.

Please pray for my grandfather. I spoke to my grandmother yesterday on the phone and she said that he has [i]Clostridium difficile[/i] or C.diff. It is a bacterial infection that has invaded his intestines and is a result of a diminished immune system and is antibiotic resistant (and, therefore, very difficult to get rid of). He is unable to leave the house. His weight has dropped to a staggering 176 lbs. The doctors have expressed concern over his weight, but the c.diff. makes his gut so inflamed that it is difficult to eat. Please pray that the infection resolves soon.
