The emphatic [i]so[/i] applied inappropriately -

"I'm so tired" is fine, but "I am [i][b]so[/b][/i] not gonna do that," "You are [i][b]so[/b][/i] in trouble," and "You are[i][b] so [/b][/i]grounded" just don't work.

finishing a sentence with "you know?", or letting it trickle off, for example: "He fell on the floor, and I was like **insert small chuckle here instead of a real emotion**)

"I told you so" is just so dumb at this point I really don't know why it still exists
"I know but_____" no just no but I really don't care at that point
