When Is Not Honoring Your Parents A Mortal Sin?

I sometimes get kind of angry at my mom especially and raise my voice, that's about it, I dont call her insults or hit her or curse her or anything like that. Maybe sometimes I tell her to like" think " or say eat dog in spanish(its not a bad word)but not really in an insulting kind of way, maybe like some people say shut up when they are surprised or a little angry.. I love her and I hug her alot during the day and I do things for her when she asks. But sometimes I get impatient and I raise my voice or respond to her mad or roll my eyes. When is it mortal? Am I in mortal sin?

It sounds like you are in the throes of teenage-itis. If every teenager that rolled their eyes at a parent ended up in Hell, Heaven would be empty. I'm convinced that the teenage years are designed to make leaving home for the teenager easier, and empty nesting easier for the parents.
