To all of us Carmelites or Carmelites-at-heart, Happy Feast Day of Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity on November 8th!

Here is a link to a video about her life I put together if you'd like to know more about her. Enjoy! :nun3:

Lovely video! I was drawn by the way the expression in her eyes changed from childhood and a rather angry look (her 'tantrum' years) to the serene and direct look of her noviciate years. Eyes that suffer and know serene joy, too. Blessed Elizabeth of The Trinity please teach us to live in praise of God's Glory in a quiet and recollected heart - Amen.

Share all you like! That's why I made it. I love her dearly because she has been a true intercessor for me throughout my vocational journey. My baptismal name is the same as hers, but after St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (who I also admire). I always jokingly like to say that my parents were actually unknowingly naming me after Bl. Elizabeth. When I entered Carmel, I took her name as my religious name, Sr. Mary Elizabeth. When I re-enter next year after some time away from the community, I was told I will get to receive her as my namesake once again!! Joy!! She is a truly powerful intercessor.

Happy Feast Day everyone!!

Beautiful!!! Thank you!!! I love her very much too!! So great to hear of her intercession in your life!

No doubt you have, Light Love Life .. this video is like a little preview of it :book: Also I love your song choice, Eyna's China Roses. It's one of the songs I have memorized for playing on the piano - very easy to play :j

I actually don't have Light, Love, Life. I'm reading one right now called "Praise of Glory", which is very good!!

I really enjoyed listening to your piano piece! I love it! I am also a pianist (another reason why Bl. Elizabeth appeals to me! hehe) I am going to watch the above video closely and learn how to play this too! Thank you for posting it! So beautiful!!

Yes! You can just see God's grace working with her through her eyes! The eyes are definitely a window on a person's soul. :)

Beutiful, beautiful video ! I had not seen that photo of her laying down in her cell before. :) My confirmation name is also Elizabeth after St. Elizabeth Anne Seton. Buuuuuut I also claim St. Elizabeth, John the Baptist's mom & all other Elizabeths as my patrons as well! ;) I have always loved Blessed Elizabeth...she speaks to my heart! Hmmm...I must be a Carmelite heart stuck in a Dominican body....sound familiar?
