For A 15 Year-Old Shot Outside Of Church & For His Parish Communit

Forwarding a prayer request from a friend of mine - she is in an inner-city parish in a very troubled neighborhood -- and she and her parish community are begging for prayer support:

Please pray for St. Patricks Catholic church community and the 15 year old boy shot on the side of the church when we were in session. Fortunately, our doctors and other medical St. Pats folk responded before the ambulance got there. Shots rang out on the street adjacent to the side of the and parking lot. Many of our children hit the street. 1/3 of our choir and mens group are medical and responded to the bleeding 15 year old. It turns out his relatives were in the church.

We prayed for him, and got emergency personnel and law enforcement and medical there. What a Sunday morning and the power of the mass. They were not able to finish him off because church members went outside..the car sped off..

Shaken but determined in Christ.
