FutureCarmeliteClaire
Jesuit!!!
My guy friend wants to be a Jesuit. He thinks it's his calling to reform the order. He is in denial that they are a bunch of hippies, though It's too bad I'll be in the convent before he finishes seminary, I'd like to see if he can survive a Jesuit... beatitude
My guy friend wants to be a Jesuit. He is in denial that they are a bunch of hippies, though It's too bad I'll be in the convent before he finishes seminary, I'd like to see if he can survive a Jesuit...
Hmm, I get a bit wary when people start saying it's their calling to reform things. It reminds me of a saying by Leo Tolstoy: "Everybody thinks of changing the world, but nobody thinks of changing himself." I expect there are some unflattering and highly accurate descriptions that would suit me just fine, and which would make 'hippie' look like a compliment. But I hope the people who have to put up with me have the grace never to use them...
