MissScripture
Today, I finally got my diploma in the mail declaring that I have a doctorate. Fifteen minutes later I locked myself out of the house.
MIKolbe
no matter what you do or how many degrees you get, you'll still be a chick.... stuff like this is gonna happen....
MissScripture
Better than when I was in school and locked myself out of the apt with no phone, no shoes and in my pajamas, while I was supposed to be studying for finals, and no one else in the building was home. I cried that time.

MissScripture
You should be proud. I'm pregnant and I didn't even cry this time.
MIKolbe
you weren't cooking, cleaning, or doing laundry either....so my proudness of you is obviously hampered a bit....
MissScripture
The reason I was outside was because I was hanging laundry on the clothes line.

MissScripture
I was also doing laundry the time I locked myself out of the apt. This obviously proves that laundry is evil.

AccountDeleted
I always wanted to finish my doctorate (started but didn't finish due to moving countries) just so I could say "Trust me, I'm a doctor!" I used to say it to me daughter all the time and she would remind me, "No, Mom, you're not." Congratulations - a great achievement, even if you do lock yourself out of the house sometimes! You are just an absent minded doctor!
