AnneLine Posted November 3, 2011 Share Posted November 3, 2011 Hello everyone, I have lurked on Phatmass for a LONG time and finally decided to join. I know this is a great community, and I have kept you all in prayer for several years. I've followed discussions on several of the areas, but have a special love for those discerning into and out of religious and priestly vocations and/or secular order communities. I chose "Anne Line" as my screen name because of the way she did background work to support priests and religious during persecution; I only hope I could have her courage and faith.... and an iota of her wisdom. St Anne Line pray for us! I little about me--I am one of the people involved in formation for a lay group in one of the mendicant orders, and am a member of a parish run by a diferent one. I've been privileged to help a number of people discern into (and out of) religious communities and seminaries over a number of years. I love the way Phatmass (and especially Vocation Station) has become community for people who are trying to find what God's will is for them--it is such a needed thing! Those of us who aren't going in but have some background can provide continuity and support for those vocations.... while serving as community for each other as people leave the board to follow God's call. And the 11th is the Feast of St. Martin of Tours! Even if the babies aren't on that day, certainly we can claim it as PhatBaby Day!!!!! This is not my baby, but isn't s/he cute!
