AccountDeleted
They send books to Australia all the time. One woman in Western Australia got it in the mail on her way in the house to use the bathroom. She started reading it on the toilet, and when she got up 3 hours later, her legs had gone to sleep, and she fell into the shower and had to have stitches. I could send you a pdf version if you wouldn't mind reading it that way.
Sure, a pdf sounds good, but how many megabytes is it? I pay per byte for uploads and downloads (Australia can be primitive) and don't want to run out until I am due to renew in December. I just had some books sent to me that I bought online and it cost about $5.50AUD per book for shipping and I just didn't want you to be out of pocket - doesn't make sense since you have made this generous offer to so many people.
I'm not going to be out of pocket. I get a certain number of free books with each printing, and I have lost count of the number of printing they are on. Most of the money made on the silly thing these days goes to a scholarship fund for people with schizophrenia or their family members. In a few weeks I'm going to get to do my first book signing by remote control. It's in Kuwait, and there isn't enough money in the world to bribe me to take a plane that far. So I'll be doing a kind of teleconference thing, and I'll sign books using some kind of weird pen thing that transmits to their end. We'll see. For some bizarre reason my book is popular with Muslim women. I've been hounded for two years to come to Singapore for a signing. Although I'd love to do high tea at Raffles.
Oooh - you should go to Singapore - I love it. My brother lives there (works for a US company) and I spent three months there. I thought I would hate it because I didn't like the whole focus on 'shopping' but there is so much more to Singapore and I ended up really loving my time there. Well, if you want to send it, okay. I will PM you my address. It is very kind of you. Thank you.
