MissScripture
Everyone was pretty well clothed, here. Though we also didn't get many older kids. And the little ones were so cute! I know my mom typically gave the kids who were really old less candy, but the typical was 2 pieces. One candy bar and one other thing, like smarties or something like that. OnlySunshine
My mom didn't buy any candy this year because our dog has arthritis (it's messing with her walking) and we didn't want our dog to pop up and hurt herself whenever the doorbell rang. It's just as well because I don't think we would have had a single trick-or-treater. There was no one walking around outside. It's good that it is a Monday. i<3franciscans
I being a high school still went trick or treating. My friends and I, tired of the idiotic costumes of most kids our age, hand made full habits and went as friars and sisters. The reactions were amesome. One guys just looked at us and said, "Oh you are amish right?" We were just like yeah... a bunch of people wanted us to come in and pray and we were like "we aren't real." LOL In the end we had a few kids stalking us and they were gonna mug us but then they realized the house we were walking p to was our own. (Thank God!) You need to post some pictures! I was a present. I cut some holes in a box, wrapped it in wrapping paper and put some ribbon on it then I put a big bow on one of my headbands, put it on my head, and trick or treated with a birthday gift bag. LaPetiteSoeur
Gosh, I haven't trick-or-treated in years! My mom and dad only had about 30 kids come. Now that we literally live in suburbia I thought they'd have more.... No one knocked on my door, but my roommate, friend, and I had cookie dough yesterday (in honor of late Halloween and All Saints Day. It was my excuse! )
fides' Jack
You don't need candy! That's why they give you an option. "Trick or treat!" "Okay, ready? Watch my thumb very closely..."
missionseeker
My brothers were telling me that someone gave them TOOTHBRUSHES in their halloween bags. Now what kind of putz does that?
BG45
No kiddos at my complex, but my boss had 150 at his house at least (his neighbor had 150 big pieces of candy and ran out halfway through at one piece per kid). My Juvenile Justice prof had around 100.[quote name='missionseeker' timestamp='1320269097' post='2330443'] My brothers were telling me that someone gave them TOOTHBRUSHES in their halloween bags. she_who_is_not
Next year, I'm giving raisans and pretzels cause the little punks kicked down and damaged the solar lights on our walkway and we had good candy. So now, they get croutons.
Chiara Francesco
I wished I saw kids dressed like these 3 - especially 'St. Francis' smiling with all that Franciscan joy! Of course, I am not sure what all that techno stuff hanging on him is supposed to mean!
