Norseman82
Well, I don't have BBC America, so the local PBS station is only beginning to show the Matt Smith episodes. However, I did laugh at the sight of Daleks serving tea and Rory looking at the psychic paper and saying to Amy "It says I'm your eunuch".
Laudate_Dominum
Tom Baker = best pre-reboot doctor. David Tennant = best reboot doctor. I think so anyway. Matt Smith is razzle dazzle, but I really like the style of David Tennant. Best doctor of all time? I refuse to speculate.

BG45
The show definitely offers some interesting ideas about the relation between body and soul... And oh my gosh that episode was heartbreaking. The Vincent Van Gogh episode from Smith is one of the few I think is comparable in how many tears I shed at the end.
Agreed and agreed! Winchester
David Tennant was the victim of bad writing, sometimes. That said, Matt Smith is still better.
GeorgiiMichael
Tennant is the best actor of the new Doctors. However as a character (because, despite being the same person, they have different characters) I'm a die-hard fan of 9. I love them all, but 9 will always hold a special place in my Who fandom. Laudate_Dominum
Matt Smith is younger than I am. We're one or two doctors away from a Saved by the Bell reboot. Edited November 2, 2011 by Laudate_Dominum

GeorgiiMichael
Well, there is one improvement that Matt Smith has brought.....he finally oiled the TARDIS door!!
I have to say, I like the "feel" of the Matt Smith episodes. Although I think that has more to do with Steven Moffat being in charge than it does with Matt Smith being the Doctor.
