Ed Normile
Cead Mile Failte ! I come from a total Irish Catholic family, my great grandfather immigrated from County Cork Ireland in 1887 and married a Riley woman from Ireland around 1881. I am an American, but I love your accent, which oddly enough I had a young girl I met from Dublin back when I was twenty at an Irish festival in Catskill New York in 1980 who told me, "I love your accent it sounds like you are singing" which is what I always thought about the Irish brogue. You will love the people you meet here, except for Mlkolbe, he is german.... ed Edited October 23, 2011 by Ed Normile

[/quote] Learning any kind of gaelic is insanely hard. But then I was learning Scots gaelic, which is different from Irish. Do you mind me asking where in NI you're from (my auntie's from there!)? PM me if you want.
