I hope the wedding went well for you, too... that you were able to share your sister's & brother-in-law's joy... that you got to dance... that you caught the bouquet... that 'school' stayed in its proper place on the back burner... and that you got a big piece of cake with a lot of icing!

My favorite Italian city, Siena, is divided into neighborhoods called "contrade." Each contrada has its logo, some of which are fairly impressive and to be expected - a wolf, a dragon. But some of them are pretty unexpected - a snail, a swan. One area that I like a great deal uses as its logo - a turtle (La tortuga)!

Oh, Maggie, so happy for you!!!!

Lilla, stop it. You're all elegance and that dress is really pretty on you, too. Is it dark purple? My friend is getting married next fall and that's the color she chose for the bridal party. :)

I was going to ask if you were twins as you look so much alike, but that was already answered. I wish all the best that life has to offer for your sister and her new husband. God bless their lives together.

Another thought, being twins if you decide you want to you could write a note saying you were running away to Africa and never want to see your family again, then kill your sister and move in with her husband. You would just need to fing a good place to hide the body. Of course that may be sinful, but I just thought I would present you with the option.

I think you both managed to be modest without looking Modest, if you get what I mean. I love the lace on Maggie's dress and you look very timeless and elegant. Effortlessly modest. That's what I would call it.
