i'm curious... how are charismatics responding to the new English Translation of the Roman Missal? From the group I hang out with, most of them just "do what the Spirit" tells them to do at Mass...
idk ... ask in debate table?

and why do you think that the171 ? the mass iz approved by the arch bishop as far as i'm aware or it may be run in some backyard garage and the arch bishops approval means i assume the cardinals approval which also means the vaticans approval, the vatican have private jets now, not much slips past there radar for any long period of time like it did in the 1400s. but anyone please continue tell me why you think or feel it is liturgical abuse. :) no pun intended

the arch bishop headed one of the masses once and i have been to 2 or 3 ordinations of the priests of this order whom run the mass, all ordained by the arch bishop, the order that runs it do the ordinary mass all other times except sunday nights

Approval of the bishop does not mean apporval of a cardinal or pope. He lives in Rome. Some stuff does slip. It's liturgical abuse because it doesn't sound like it follows the rubrics of the Roman Missal. Case and point.

Well, you can have a mass, but it doesn't mean that it is following the rubrics.

the arch bishop is no ordinary bishop hunn
Please be a bit more charitable with your posts. I apologize for my misnaming the archbishop, but I'm just saying: his approval does not mean that the pope or any cardinals approve.

please if you are concerned than you can email our arch bishop marc(or mark) colleridge , he is australian. google search unsure of his email, and he can give you the details of why he allows this form of the mass continue, i can not give you these details, sorry, but do appreciate the concern. I may myself email him to find out why and i'm unsure of what rubrics is, hopefully not as difficult to put together as a rubics cube :(
