OnlySunshine
The Carmelite Monastery of the Holy Cross located in Iron Mountain, MI has a new website and my visit to it revealed that they have posted some beautiful videos. The videos relate the story of the life of a Carmelite candidate from postulancy to solemn profession and is told by a Sr. Sarah who later becomes Sr. Christina of the Heart of Mary. I recognized the background music as being the soundtrack from one of my favorite movies, Therese (2004). I encourage anyone with a call to religious life, especially to the Carmelites, to view these videos on their website. I was in tears during the second video because of how the Sisters' prayer life can assist the world in its grievances. I was so glad to see them. I only had time to watch the first video, but am looking forward to the rest when I next have time to savour it. LadyOfSorrows
PS- What is the third to last song on the second video? It's not from the Therese soundtrack, and I know I've heard it before! I think it's a hymn..
