For example Lost, I love that show and it is not an occasion of sin to me, but is it sinful watching it? What about books? Like lord of the flies etc, that have some violence and stuff?

Neither of two examples, as far as I am familiar with the show or book, would be sinful for the average person to watch.

Any thing, even if it is prime that contains pornography, would be sinful to knowing watch.
