Oh, she looks so beautiful. I don't have a particular desire to wear a wedding dress for my (hypothetical) clothing but looking at her I'd definitely consider it. Prayers

What absolutely beautiful photos.....and new bride! Thanks for posting them. It's always an inspiration for my prayer life to see young women enter, be clothed, and be professed. More names to add to my growing list :clapping:

I'm leading a group to visit them after Brittlyn is invested. :)

I am so excited for you! Does Mother think that you should enter after you graduate from high school or do they require that you wait a few more years before making an application to enter? They look like a beautiful order. :)

Yes, that's the plan. :) Unless my mom doesn't give consent.... because I'll only be 17 after I graduate. And she wants me to enter after college.... SO I'm hoping things work out :)

Sister Maria Faustina of Merciful Love, OCD :)

She was invested September 3Oth, 2011 into the habit of Our Lady of Mt.Carmel at the Monastery of Mary, Mother of Grace in Lafayette, LA. It was a private ceremony, as is the custom of the Order. Here are the pictures of the beaming bride. :)

Continue to pray for her, the upcoming novice (Brittlyn enters her retreat on the 6th, then is invested on the 15th.) , the other postulant (Danielle) , and the two aspirants (Chloe and myself. :) ) Pax vobiscum :D

Remember dear sisters that "is not important the day you enter religion (the community or order) but your entrance into heaven..." that really counts (quote from a saint whose name I cannot remember--this was said to a visionary)

Keep me in your prayers as I am preparing for private vows under the charism of Fr. Lataste , in Lima Peru
