Unpacking

I disagree. I think unpacking is worse than packing. Although, in this case, at least unpacking means you have a place to live and it's not with the crazy roomie.

I hate packing and unpacking. When my parents, sister, and I moved from our first house to our current one, we were still fairly young. I was 13 and she was 11. My mom helped us with the packing and we ended up getting rid of some stuff to make the transition a little easier. When moving day arrived, my aunts and uncles came and helped pack up the furniture and boxes in the U-Haul. My sister, cousins, and I went over to my aunt's house and were not involved in most of the unpacking. When I came home, my room was totally set up and I only had to unload the books, clothes, and shoes because my mom wanted me to be able to find everything easily (same with my sister). It was nice not having to deal with most of it. :)

I agree. Unpacking is no fun. I'm supposed to be doing the same right now, but I got tired of trying to find places for stuff.

And that is why we still have stuff in boxes a month after we finally moved into our house. In my defense, I have been finding other productive things to do, I'm not just sitting around and playing on PM (though I do that a fair amount, too).

I think the worst is trying to unpack a suitcase. It's not the same as boxes, but is an annoyance nonetheless. Everytime I come back from a trip, it takes me a week or two to finally empty the thing out. It drives me nuts!
