I am just happy the Yankees lost.

There are 2 yankees fans here, and I wrote them a note laughing at the demise of their team. LAUGHING HEARTILY, I might add!!!

I still think the Red Sox are gonna win it. somehow.

It'll be Cardinals over the Rangers in 7. Dollars to doughnuts!

It will be a tough series, but I predict the Rangers suprise everyone and take it in game 6...

well at least your bosses don't want you to plan events for the nights you have off so that you can be there and not get paid...

...that happened only once at my workplace when a co-worker was getting married... they planned a bridal shower for her after hours... i was the only one that didn't show up... if the event doesn't include beer, i'm outta there...

"I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts."

If we bet and I lose, I have to pay you five dollars; if you lose, you have to pay me five doughnuts. Back when doughnuts were a nickel a piece, the phrase meant, "I am very sure that I will win."
