If You Were To Write A Book...

The ONE thing I want to pass on to my children is how watching certain movies, or advertising certain movies by using an avatar from a scene in said movie, is morally dangerous, if that movie is one in which we don't have to go see to know it is a morally bad movie.

I'm kidding - just hoping that people don't get into a fad of all using the same avatar with the Hangover 2 like they did with the first one. :)

All glory to God.

I would discuss about life in sin and how it effects people mentally, emotionally, physically. And about how miserable and unhappy life is without God.

Discuss how happy, joyful, fullfilling and meaningful life is with God in your soul.

How sin really hurts Jesus and what it does to the soul (describe St. Teresa's image of a soul in sin)

Discuss the Real Presence of God in the Eucharist and miracles of the Eucharist.

Discuss the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus' humanity and divinity.

Contemplative prayer and growing in holiness.

Understanding suffering and carrying your cross.

Devotion to the Blessed Virgin.

Devotion to Divine Mercy Jesus.

Rooting out venial sins in your life so as to grow in holiness.

A deep examination of conscience to really grow in holiness.

Abandonment and living for Jesus in the present moment.

How to grow in the different stages of the spiritual life and prayer life

The different forms of prayer (meditative, vocal, contemplation, etc.)

The different types of prayer (LOTH, Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, etc.)

Dryness in prayer, dark night of the senses/soul, etc. Issues in prayer.

Vivid picture written about the mysteries of the Rosary

How to live charitably and socialize, yet not tell people too much information. Silence in the day. Simple prayer in the day. Discuss Opus Dei about growing in holiness while in the world.

Discuss discerning the different forms of consecration, third orders, etc.

Why? Because they help me to really understand the Faith.
