I'd really appreciate it. In Christ, Fr. Pfex
Tab'le De'Bah-Rye
May the peace of our lord and saviour rest in your heart in that the holy spirit may decend upon you and renew your mind always,(in latin: pax domine sit semper vobiscum lol) Ha Ha feedback huh ? well i don't need to rebuke you lol, thaz my feedback fr.pontifex , though i would like to mention that i'd like to see a push for that the nihil obstat and impimatur be made availble outside of hymn books and written works, for some there song iz there written works. In that still with the understanding that it is not that we can't listen or read stuff that has no nihil obstat or imprimatur or the other stamp the impri potest(hey that would be razzle dazzle, bits and pieces of tha chatechism put to rap lol) and a quick question fr.pontifex, since we have black listed reading material and movies, do we have a black list for music. God bless you. Onward christian soul. JC "seek and you sahll find, knock and the door will be opened" St francessca cabrini(the american saint) "he that dares nothing recieves nothing,a missionary should be fearless" St Mary Mackillop of the cross "be eager in your desires but patient in there accomplishment." DMcB
Father - I've listened to the album twice (once distracted, once only half distracted.) And both times it was playing through wimpy computer speakers (which rarely does anything justice). But here is my initial reaction: At first blush, I was intrigued by several things: the production, lyrics and the scratching. All spoke of Hip Hop from the soul. The album is truly authentic in that fashion. That said, I look forward to downloading it to my phone so that I can listen to it through headphones - every Hip Hop album's truest test! Until then, hold fast, I'll come through with the headphone review in a few days. Ultimately, it is one more album glorifying Our Lord's work and infinite mercy...can't beat that! Seven77
I have listened to your album but not as many times as I would like to listen to it. Maybe that's why I have refrained from posting for so long. Your love for God and the Holy Priesthood really shines through your music. Right now I think that title track is my favorite track if I had to choose only one. I truly appreciate your track Perceptions. Don't Sleep is fire and I really like Sundays w/Manchild. Just to name a few songs that really stood out for me right now.

Guest Topaz1128
Fr. Pontifex, First of all, thank you so much for your CD. I am a new Catholic (confirmed two years ago), and I hold my 1st degree in the Knights of Columbus. As with eveyone, I am faced with struggles and setbacks in living out my Catholic faith. The lyrics in your songs increase my faith and rejuvenate me like nothing else. I love every track, but my favorites are "Ordained" and "Least of These." I am 40 years old and grew up on artists such as Run DMC, Public Enemy, and LL razzle dazzle J. I am not into hip hop nowadays, so I really appreciate your old-school approach. I also like this approach because the lyrics are not obscured by layers and layers of sounds. The fact that you are a priest and admit to struggles really encourages me and shows me that I, a layperson, am definitely not alone! Thank you so very much for your CD and PLEASE record more! It is nourishment for the soul (and the music is amesome as well!).
