Prayers For Grandpa's Surgery Tomorrow

Please offer your prayers for my grandpa who is having surgery tomorrow to have his damaged kidney removed. A few years ago, he had a really awful infection which turned out to be pseudomonas -- an infection that severely damages cell walls and causes problems. His kidney has had to have a stint in it to prevent urine backflow from venous collapse. It has become so damaged over the years that it keeps getting infections and has put him in the hospital too many times to count. The nephrologist has done many tests and has decided that my grandfather should have the kidney removed. It has taken several months of tests to make sure that the other kidney is fully functional. Everything came back normal.

He is scheduled to go under anesthesia early in the morning. Please pray that he does well. There is always the risk that he may have complications since he is 77 years old. Since tomorrow is the Feast Day of the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, I am praying that they keep him safe.
