KarenJoanna
I just remembered that I said my sins in number but I forgot to say for how long, like I said I cursed like about 10 times a day but I forgot to say since when or how long like 2 years etc., because I am 18 and I have not confessed like in 6 years before this year and so, I just said that and other sins too, they were alot, so do I have to repeat my whole confession or is it valid and i don't have to mention it in the next? Please respond. Edited September 26, 2011 by KarenJoanna
cappie
According to Canon Law: Can. 988 §1 The faithful are bound to confess, in kind and in number, all grave sins committed after baptism, of which after careful examination of conscience they are aware, which have not yet been directly pardoned by the keys of the Church, and which have not been confessed in an individual confession. §2 The faithful are recommended to confess also venial sins. So your confession is valid.
