Pax domine bretheran and others...
To keep the sabbath holy is as simple as jesus words in the gospels where he states when the pharesees tried to peg him as a blasphemer on the sabbath and got him to heal a hand. and they assumed it was servitial work. But jesus counteracts and says "Is it right to do good or to do evil on the sabbath." and than gives a parable to them and asks them if a lamb fell down a well on the sabbath would they not go and fetch the lamb. Any other thoughts or examples in the holy word of god as to why it is okay to do things on the sabbath especially those attaining to good works.

God bless you all

P.S. i do believe though if god desires to heal you and a new pair of pantaloons will help in that than is not the lord also allowed to heal on the sabbath, but in that possibly a sacrifice would be good in the manner of if you usually purchase 150$ JAG jeans that a 50$ pair of generic jeans may be more appropriate on a sunday.

God bless you all.

The Sabbath is not for worrying too much :P about what's okay and not okay.

I enjoy a good rest and time to pray and reflect on the Lord's Day.

i think somone hacked my thread, i know not what plantoons are and also there was more i said that seems to have been removed where i said, and the money saved could goto a charity or if you got the jag jeans than give your old pair away to someone whom needs them. Sometimes the lord desires us to shop as part of our healing process possibly, but than as i said 150$ or 50$,give away old pair or give some money to charity,or some extra to the church plates
aight bless.

the skill of examining ones concience iz for dimwits like me that are stuck in a storm that keeps blowing the prayer light globeand reading the bible light globe and god knows my front door(the rosary) has been sucked off it's hinges and is blowing in the wind clankity clank clank, though i still occasion the holy bible and the rosary occasionaly and not only that the storm has whisped my friends away sucked right through the broken front door :( so relatively no fellowship, but aye alleuia if this storm eventually smells of elderberries my whole house away hopefully the foundation will remain(holy mass and the sacrements. Not that this iz my desire to have my house utterly destroyed, YE OLD DASTARDLY ENEMY, YOU JUST WAIT YOUR TURN SATAN AND CO-HORTS COZ YOU GUNNA GET IT.)
