The Sappy Thread About Why My Hubby Rocks

 While I was on the trip with my family, I didn't typically have to ask to stop to go to the bathroom, because my dad was good about stopping every 2 hours, since they had me (the preggo) and my mom's parents along, who would all need to use the bathroom relatively frequently. Plus, he drinks a lot of coffee, so that helped remind him to stop. :hehe: Well, on the last day of driving home, I was texting with Roamin and told him I REALLY had to go to the bathroom, but I wanted to try to hold it, because we had JUST left the restaurant a half an hour earlier. So, he called my mom's phone and told her I needed to use the restroom so they'd better stop for me. :hehe2: They pulled off at the next exit and stopped at a gas station for me. It spared me from another half an hour to forty-five minutes of misery before I would've said something.

It takes so little to make some people happy.

But I would have done it for you, too, if you were my pregnant wife.

But only if you were pregnant. Not otherwise.

Aw thats really sweet

A friend and her husband had a very long drive when she was in the early weeks of pregnancy and had severe morning noon and night sickness, bless her. Her hubby lined a wastepaper bin with carrier bags and everytime she was sick they just tied that bag up and found the nearest street bin! :x

next time, tell them you have to go pee.

But this way, my husband got blamed by my grandma for waking her up from her "only nap this whole trip" (it was not, by a long shot) rather than me getting blamed.

This. I learned young to just ask when I have to pee - no embarassment, no stress - just straight up. Others just have to deal with it!

How sweet that he takes care of you but also how sweet that you appreciate his efforts.
