Winchester
Can't wait till Joss Whedon remakes them. Also, isn't it weird that the Emperor kicks all that as[acronym=''][/acronym]s with the lightning and stuff, but if you pick him up he's helpless. And he falls like a stone, no help from the Force. brianthephysicist
Laserdisk would have been more impressive.
My parents own episode 4 on laserdisk, but the laserdisk player broke and they haven't done anything about it :'(
Interestingly enough, George Lucas owns the rights to the "Han Shot First" shirts that everyone's been buying...
That would be amazing if Joss Whedon remade them, but I feel like he's too busy coming up with his own amazing ideas to spend the time working on revamping someone else's. Feriku
I don't have Blu-Ray and I have all of the movies on DVD already...that being said, I love Star Wars! I even read the novels.
brianthephysicist
I'm a big fan of the novels too, primarily those post - 6 rather than pre - 1. Have you read the X-Wing series or the Thrawn Triology, those two are by far my faves
Feriku
Yep! By now, other than a few of the early ones that didn't look interesting enough to me, I've read all except the majority of the New Jedi Order and those that follow it (I'm working on it) and any that just came out. The Thrawn Trilogy was the first one that I read, and I loved it! I loved the X-Wing series, too. In fact, both of those gave me two new authors to start reading books by (both Timothy Zahn and Michael A. Stackpole have great non-SW books). tinytherese
First vhs, then dvd, now blu ray. I remember reading a comical list of quotes from a guy who complained that he didn't want to update his collection of movies yet again with blu ray. I don't even see a difference between blu ray and dvd. That "noooooo" being added just ruins the scene. Why can't George Lucas release the original additions for those of us that want that instead of his updated croutons being the only addition we can get? I know that with Disney special additions DVDs where they add in say a musical number that wasn't in the original screen play that you are allowed to select which screen addition you want to watch, one without the new number, the new number version, and perhaps some other version. Why can't he just do that? I so don't want the blu ray with this nonsense even if I did in fact have a desire to get it with him screwing it up.
