Invalid Confession?

i don't know if i made an invalid confession today and then took communion in mortal sin?

i mentioned a sin that i now just realized i did in the past but not recently. so its a sin that has already been forgiven. when mentioning the sin i said i committed it numerous times throughout my life. although now looking back i really have no clue how many times i committed this sin. i can remember a few times committing the sin, but i could have possibly committed more, i just don't know. so did i invalidate my confession by not being accurate and possibly over stating the number of times the sin was comitted.

The sin has long been forgiven, and you needn’t confess it or submit yourself to trying to remember times etc. Let it go and be at peace. There is no need for further worry, anxiety, or regret. God has forgiven you. It’s time for you to forgive yourself and move on with your life.
