Byzantine
Apparently, the Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches does not say anything about how often one can receive Communion. So... what should I do if I find myself in a situation in which I can receive more than once?
CatherineM
If you are traveling around on purpose to try to get communion as many times as possible (which a friend of my husband does), that's an issue. If you are a church musician or altar server, and you are doing more than one mass, it isn't a problem. If I get hit by a bus leaving Sunday mass, and the priest offers me last communion as I'm dying on the curb, I'm taking it.
