I'm sorry! I'm actually going again after Mass...because 37 books for $30 wasn't enough!

I've been told that before. :| I actually felt bad about not looking at the Physics books after Brian said he was jealous, so I looked through them this evening after Mass. Don't be jealous Brian, most were pretty old, and those that weren't were indeed basic textbooks; I could understand the content, so it would be way below your level :)

Yeah...50 cent paperbacks, dollar hardcovers. I spent about $50 total, but by today (the last day) I wasn't even shopping for me anymore. I had lists from people at home, ranging from my best friend to my relatives. :) This was the 43rd year I think?

In a 2004 Internet poll sponsored by the BBC and the British Association for the Advancement of Science, Beaker and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew were voted Britain's favorite cinematic scientists. They beat Star Trek's Mr. Spock, their closest rival, by a margin of 2 to 1 and won 33 percent of the 43,000 votes cast.

It's kind of a standard fundraising activity - that's very typical pricing.

A book fair's a great fundraiser - no overhead, pure profit. However, you do need people - to bring in donated books, to set up table, to organize the books on the tables, and to buy the organized books.

oh well, I be just jealous because I need to start developin' me physics library. Even if somethin' might seem below me, if I don't have a book on it, then I'll be lookin' it up on wikipedia rofl. But, no worries, in a couple years I'll start gettin' paid to develop it
(Reuters) - An international team of scientists has recorded neutrino particles travelling faster than the speed of light, a spokesman for the researchers said on Thursday -- in what could be a challenge to one of the fundamental rules of physics.
I seem to recall some years ago something about that. Maybe CERN has just confirmed it.
