Yeah, whenever I hear those laser hair removal commercials on the radio I just wonder what in the heck they're doing that shaving costs them "soooo much time!" They must be sasquatches.

Well if you watch, you'll see that they are clutzes. They fall over and drop their razors. then they pout and become disoriented. It's probably safer for them to get laser removal.

I actually don't mind shaving. It doesn't take *that* long, and it just feels so much better. My biggest problem with shaving is being able to afford a razor. :|
Razors last longer if you dry it off afterwards. That tip has saved me money. Right now I think I could shave twice a day with these pregnancy hormones! Annoying.

As for skirts being modest, they don't feel modest when a child is trying to hide under them. :|

Yeah, I keep mine outside the shower on a shelf. It keeps it from getting wet during other people's showers, too. I have found that I need to buy the more costly Gillette or Schick razors, though, because the cheap ones irritate my skin (and I don't have sensitive skin).

I have found that cheap men's razors work better than cheap women's razors. I'm not sure what is different, but they just seem to not irritate my legs as much.

I may have to give them a try. I don't usually get razor burn but every time I try out a cheap razor I have bumps and razor burn. It's not bad, just ugly and annoying. Especially if I wear a sleeveless shirt (I live in the south, sleeveless shirts are sometimes necessary no matter what anyone says about modesty. I figure if my boobs aren't hanging out it's modest.)

i use an epilator for my legs. :|

I've considered buying one but haven't taken the plunge yet. it's not the possibility of pain, it's the money. Which I would technically be saving but it weirds me out thinking of dropping 50-80 bucks all at once on a hair removal device...

I'll look into it. I am not at all opposed to trying it out. My sister waxes, after a couple years of going to a salon to have it done she started doing it herself. She even does her pits. Thinking to myself "If she can, I can" I gave it a try. My legs were no problem, although I find it more of a hassle for essentially the same results as a razor, but when I tried my underarms I frikkin' bled. I was like "say what?!, totally shaving from now on!" lol

when i was pregnant, towards the end, i'd get my legs waxed every six weeks. just didn't want to try to bend over and shave at that point :hehe:

I don't blame you. lol It can get really tough once you start getting big. In the winter months I only shaved the day before (or of) a doctor appointment. I was way too nauseated to make an appointment and have someone else wax for me. lol

My sister did it, but I never found the time or inclination. I much preferred the Arby's drive-thru. :|

My husband wasn't there, or was only there on weekends mainly for my last two pregnancies. I had to do the ultimate stretch to reach my toes. lol

Ya know what, that man needs to get on the ball. I'm going to start harassing him. lol
