Chiara Francesco
I looled on the Diocese of Portland ME website and this community is not listed. That doesn't mean that they do not have approval but until it can be confirmed please refrain from posting about this community. If someone does find additional info please PM me. In March 2013, a friend who has written this order's founder told me this: "She got the Bishop's full approval to found in Maine. She is selling her NH house and already has her sight on a house in Maine."
cmaD2006
In March 2013, a friend who has written this order's founder told me this: "She got the Bishop's full approval to found in Maine. She is selling her NH house and already has her sight on a house in Maine." Nothing personal, and not saying that the founder is necessarily being untruthful but stranger things have happened. Can there be a 2nd source (i.e. not a source such as "the founder said so-and-so", but more like a news report from a diocesan paper, or a radio program, or confirmation from the vicar for religious, etc)? Just erring on the side of caution. Thanks.
Rotkirch
For late vocation to the priesthood there's always Beda College in Rome. In the seminary I'm in there is a 60-year old widow who have been in Beda College. So well there is never too late. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVVHvAeh6qs http://www.bedacollege.com/
