Is It Bad?

I haven't done this in a while but is it bad that I've watched shows like "A Haunting" and believed that there are souls that are not at rest? I don't take it completely seriously but I feel like it could be possible. Or is it against my Faith?

I think it is bad to watch such things. We know, as an article of our faith, that souls receive their eternal reward at the moment of their death, or at least very shortly thereafter. Thus, there is no such thing as a soul "not at rest" or a soul who must accomplish some sort of unfinished business on earth before it can receive its reward. If anyone sees a "ghost" this can only be either an apparition of one of the saints in heaven or the presence of one of Satan's demons. Fascination with the "undead," with ghosts and "souls not at rest" can quickly lead to occultism and other practices that are sins against faith. I think the devil has a vested interest in arousing interest in such things, which is why I recommend avoiding TV shows and movies like the one you described.
