Thanks! I do so love NW England and would love to stay, but I know it's in God's hands. Hopefully if we leave it will just be temporary.

They do sell Marmite in the States. I don't know why, but they do. :|

Where will you be moving back to?

OK, I really dislike marmite. Never developed a taste for it, it seems.

We'll be in FL initially, with my parents. My cousins in AL have offered to let us crash there, but I don't want to impose, especially since we'll be bringing back our cats.

I never claimed not to be strange. ;) At least I can make scones wherever I am. And cottage pie. And sausage & mushroom pie (provided I can find some real bangers). My dad is super excited at the thought of us being there, and Charlotte already has him wrapped around her little finger.

I can only imagine the move. That's a bummer. We all long to be at home. If you bring all your love with you, your home in the US will be just grand. I'll add y'all in my prayers.

:( :console: And I thought moving from Bismarck was hard! On the bright side, as hard as I took it at first, now that I'm adjusting to the idea, I think it will be much better for us to be here. Prayers that everything works out for you!

Yeah, looking like we'll move in early/mid October because of the way our tenancy works out. I mean, we just have to give 1 month's notice (which I'll do tomorrow or Monday), but we pay our rent in the middle of the month, so yeah. I've spent the day going through clothes and yarn and weeding things out. This certainly makes sure I don't get too attached to any material objects.

My parents both say that stopping moving every couple of years is the reason they have a houseful of junk. I did suggest they could have the bi-annual clearouts without the moving but hey ho...
