scardella
I named my parents' 1994 Dodge Caravan "the Love Bucket" - don't know why I also named their 2002 Caravan "The Silver Bullet" My 2002 Sentra was called "Grace" My wife's dearly departed Honda Fit never had a name. It gave its life in protection of her. I really liked that car. My wife calls our GPS "Lola".
OnlySunshine
My first car was a Buick Century named "Baby Blue" (cue old country song...). My family's truck is named "Roar" because his muffler fell off in the middle of the road one time.
That's weird! I have an old Buick Century now that I named "Indigo" because of it's blue color. "Baby Blue" would probably go better since it's a light blue, not dark purple. It actually used to be called "India" when I was going through a phase where I liked Moroccan and Indian culture, but I hate that name now. My mom now has a Chrysler PT Cruiser that is silver or grey, but I don't remember the name of it. I think it's Misty or Shadow. My mom used to have the name "Betsy" for every car she had, but then changed it. Edited August 24, 2011 by MaterMisericordiae

BG45
My Subaru Legacy was named Suby. I also called it The Umbrella Car. When I was five, mom went to test drive it to get a free umbrella. They were out of umbrellas when we got to the dealership...we got the car. My parents say it was the best car they ever owned. I was still driving it as of a year and a half ago, at which point enough stuff finally went wrong that it was cheaper just to trade it in than repair it. RIP Suby...1991-2010.
