Byzantine
I occasionally go driving with someone who ordinarily has complete legitimate authority over me. This person often gives me dangerous commands, things like telling me to switch lanes without looking over my shoulder to check for cars in the blind spot; telling me to speed (incidentally, is there an official ruling on going around 5 miles over the speed limit?); and other things. Do I have to follow the person's instructions, or do I not need to because they endanger people and are sometimes illegal?
Brother Adam
The commands of even a legitimate authority if they are immoral or illegal or otherwise sinful should not be followed since the authority has no legitimate claim to command such a thing.
