I've had it up on the window sill and the heat is just crazy here... it hit 100 degrees inside my house without A/C, now its down to 79, but it's taken all evening and night to cool it down... my plant looks a little withered right now...its baked! LaPetiteSoeur
There's a really cool book called "Gardening in Texas." My aunt LOVES it, as she loves flowers and plants, but so many things are different in TX, especially since she's used to Belfast weather... Doesn't it get hotter and colder in Texas? You could grow plumeria down there. You would just need to take it inside to some place warmer during the winter when it's dormant and lost all of its leaves. Plumeria is super easy to grow. You just put a dormant cutting into a pot with potting soil and perlite (And pebbles on the top) and water it once a week -- then suddenly leaves appear! And when it gets old enough the flowers start to grow. I got five cuttings for five dollars each. When my plants get big enough I can take cuttings for other people. I think that in a single rate box it would only cost about $10 to ship a bundle of cuttings. I want to collect as many colors as I can!
