So I have some more questions on gluttoney.

how about eating till one is full, is that a sin?

and the biggest question for me is, i work out to gain muscle and use heavy weights. so that means i eat like every 2 -2 1/2 hours or something like that. i do this not because i am longing for food but because for my goals that is what seems to be recommended. now when i eat every 2-2 1/2 hours or something like this, i am not necesarily always hungry. now by eating when not hungry is that a sin and when does it become mortal/grave?

i guess i am just confused to when gluttoney becomes a mortal sin and when it is a venial sin?

No, eating until one is full is normal and healthy. Gluttony is an overindulgence in food for its enjoyment. So if you your wife cooks an amazing thanksgiving meal and you accidentally end up over eating and gaining a pound that wouldn't necessarily be mortal. Basically you are idolizing food and depend on it for happiness. Eating to gain wait for sports or for health is not gluttonous. The sin of gluttony is one of the deadly sins (CCC 1866). It often engenders other sins. Gluttony is always a grave sin, so done with full consent and knowledge it will be mortal.
