MargaretTeresa
Woot! I heard someone say "The Lord be with you" today. Mentally I responded "And with your spirit."

[/quote] our priest got these pew cards that have the different responses in them, and every week after Mass is over, but not officially over (before the final blessing, but after the reflection after Communion is over), he's been going through them. most people have been staying. MargaretTeresa
idk how we're going to start the transition. Although, knowing Fr J, he's going to just push us all straight in lol

MissyP89
My parish hasn't even told us yet, except for one thing in the pastor's column a month or so ago that said, in summary, "HEY YOU GUYS! IT'S GONNA BE GREAT!" I expect a trainwreck. And to laugh more at Mass than I already do.
Groo the Wanderer
Just finished presentation to the pastor. He LOVED it. Said it was right in line with his vision. Yoots gonna teach other yoots to be trainers/leaders. Next present to the groups in the parish to form a core coalition to act as a catalyst group once Advent is here. After that, present the changes before and after each Mass starting in September (10 min segments) wooty woot! so proud of my kiddos
cappie
We have been using the new translation since Pentecost Sunday. It is working well (at least in this parish). There are a few mistakes most notably "And also with you" especially towards the end of Mass, but most are getting on fine.

faithcecelia
We had a meeting about it last week. As expected, there are mixed feelings among the parishioners but overall fairly positive. Weekday Masses are going to be the new translation as soon as possible with Sunday from Advent, so those of us who go to weekday will have a lovely muddle for a while I'm looking forward to it, and have been reading and praying it over for a few weeks now. Interestingly, the 'Holy Holy' is almost word for word the same as the Anglican Mass, the setting of which the Ordinariate already have permission to use.
