I've heard of it with Coke (I think? Some pop, at any rate), but I didn't realize it was also things like cheetoes.

I know, I used to love Cheetoes. Oh, and Pepsi does it, I don't think Coke does...

Not A Mallard

Would that make it mortal sin to eat anything by Frito Lay? Because I love coagulated milk chips and my mom bought a bag of them. I don't wanna tell everyone, "Hey, don't eat chips. They use cells from aborted babies."

To clarify, they're not actually using the cells IN the products, but to develop the products, so you're not eating aborted baby cells (I think you probably got that, but I just want to make sure no one is confused on that point). I also don't think it would make it a mortal sin, since you're not participating in the actual use of the aborted baby cells.

Here is the most recent positive news about this. Pepsi Shareholders Demand It Stop Using Aborted Fetal Cells
Hopefully the Board of Directors of PepsiCo will agree with the shareholder(s). I'm not sure is it is multiple shareholders or just one person that filed the resolution.
PepsiCo did reply however and insisted that its use of the research from Senomyx would produce “great tasting, lower-calorie beverages.”
It's okay babies were killed. You'll get a tastier beverage! :x

But I'd still be supporting a company who uses aborted babies.

Just an FYI, Pepsico brands include Pepsi, FritoLay (which includes totstitos, sun chips, doritos, etc), Tropicana (which includes Dole, which was total news to me!), Quaker (apparently, they make Rice-a-Roni, Cap'n Crunch and Near East products) and Gatorade. So, looks like I'll be switching to Powerade, after this. *sigh* Stupid Pepsico. :bomb: :mad3: :mad5:

Well, technically, they're a company who uses a company that uses aborted babies. But this is probably a good question for the Q & A section...

And I really hope my brother finishes off my Life cereal this weekend, so I don't have to eat it or waste it. I was going to eat it this afternoon. Now I just kinda wanna puke...

The roof over my head is there because of Pepsico. And I went to college on a Pepsico scholarship.

I'm going to hell. ^_^
