OnlySunshine
Please say some prayers that I am able to enroll in the class I need for Fall 2011. I am applying as a transient student and I am unable to register until August 15, 2011 even though the open registration has already begun. I spoke to a counselor on Thursday who said there was no way I could bypass the wait period. I'm very concerned that I will not be able to get in to the class I want/need because almost all the spots are filled. The only way I could is if the instructor approves a seat override. I know this professor well since I took my previous class with him so I hope he will if it's necessary. Also, I'm trying to form a plan for the next few years since I hope to graduate with my Bachelor's by the time I'm 30. I just turned 28 this week and I am hoping to graduate this December with my Associates (2-year) degree. It's been 10 years since I graduated from high school and it has not been easy choosing a career path. I've had problems with Attention Deficit Disorder and general doubt whether the career path I had chosen would be right for me. I've gone from veterinary medicine to radiologic technology to art history to nursing to psychology to biology to wildlife science to social work--which is my current major as of this Spring. There were many more changes--ones I don't remember now because there have been so many. Anyway, I've been doing lots of research on schools that offer a Bachelors in Social Work and have thought about what I need to do to get admitted. I'm probably going to have to apply for financial aid and loans. Please pray that I can come up with a plan that I'm happy with so that my major doesn't change again for the umpteenth time. I'm done with changing it because I researched and took assessments on my personality to find what would suit me and I'm sure that this is a good choice. I love helping people. Thanks in advance.
