BG45
Thanks, was wondering what STB meant. So he (or his folks) deleted your comment? I noticed that the ratings were disabled on YouTube, not something one usually does.

I know a guy who has an S.T.D. which is the equivalent of a PhD in Theology in the states. But yeah I'm with Jason, if you just have your bachelor's, adding letters after your name makes you look dumb.

Lisa
Just fyi- even though it says "Bachelors" it's typically a graduate-level degree. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bachelor_of_Sacred_Theology
While acceptance to an S.T.B. programme always requires at least two prior years' undergraduate study of philosophy, as well as knowledge of the Latin and Greek languages, in the United States a completed undergraduate degree is generally required for admission to an S.T.B. programme. Thus it is roughly equivalent academically to an M.Div. (although the S.T.B. has a more academic focus while the M.Div. has a more pastoral focus), and the two are sometimes granted together.
Carry on.

Maggyie
Voris is really good at telling at telling people who already believe X all about how X is correct. Preaching to the choir is not hard to do.
