Reasons Why Tv Is Rarely On In Your House

Here's one. I turned on Family Feud hosted by Steve Harvey. I'd loved this game show when Richard Dawson was the host. I know this dates me.

The 1st question/survey was "Where would a husband hide his dirty magazines from his wife?"
The 2nd question/survey was "Of the 7 dwarfs, which best describes your spouse in bed?"
The 3rd question/survey was, I don't know b/c I turned the TV off.

Wow.

I just don't really watch TV anymore because, honestly, I'm just not interested. And I got tired of/annoyed by stuff like similar to what you mentioned.

we don't have cable, though we have a converter box, so we get 4 PBS channels, a community channel, ABC, NBC, CBS, & WB stations. we mostly watch PBS kids programs during the day, local news in the evening, and if there's something appropriate on for all of us to watch together, we'll watch that. if not, we don't.

we don't have cable, and i think we have a converter box, but it's just not hooked up. The DVD player works, though.

We have netflix. Occasionally we get in the networks, but that is fairly rare that they actually come in for a whole show, and I get annoyed with it cutting out. I pretty much stick with netflix, because then I don't have to deal with the commercials. Sometimes those are even worse than the tv shows.

Wow, that's not like the last time I watched Family Feud. x.x Sad to hear the show went downhill so far.

We just aren't really interested in anything that's on TV these days, except maybe stuff on the History Channel or an old movie. We watch DVDs at night, generally of older shows...to give you an idea, when I read the name "Richard Dawson" in the opening post, my first thought was "Newkirk!"

I usually keep it calm and clean watching EWTN, Home and Garden, or the Food Network.

I often have it on for background noise. I don't have it on if I'm busy on the computer sometimes, or if I'm just busy doing things at home.

But not this.

Family Feud with Steve Harvey is a disaster. <rolleyes> Price is Right with Drew Carey is where it's at. ;)

My kids like Matlock on WGN, too.

We just have Netflix. It's nice to have more control of what's on the screen.
